Samsung innovation is really punching lately, after they succeed with Samsung Dual View Camera, the ST550 or TL225, the SCH-W880 is going to hit the market with a mobile phone camera concepts –or should I say a 12 megapixel camera that happen to be a mobile phone– . This new Samsung camera is also known as AMOLED 12M, released date should be in this October, unless the company’s going to delay it.

As a mobile phone, Samsung AMOLED 12M features is really not intended for entry level phone users. SCH-W880 supports HSDPA 3G Networks, Wi-Fi, GPS and DMB mobile television. All these features in a single phone can only be found in high end mobile phone right now. Samsung also gives 4GB built in internal memory, microSD memory expandable slot, and Bluetooth.

Samsung W880 camera features are 12 Megapixel, 3x Optical Zoom and the ability to record HD Video (720p resolution) at 30 fps. Samsung also beefs up this camera phone with a Xenon Flash, hand shake stabilizer system and Face Detection functions. You can see the mode dial and shutter release button in the upper side of the body. And the rest camera menus and controls will be provided to their touch screen.
The 3.3 inch screen on W880 is no ordinary screen, they were active matrix organic light emitting diodes, which bore the name AMOLED 12M combining it with their megapixels. This samsung camera phone’s prices is still under negotiaton, but judging its features, $850 is pretty logical if we look into other mobile phone that bears this kind of features.
