Samsung HZ30W Long Zoom CameraLast week monday, Samsung announced their 5 new cameras, all of them will fill the point and shoot camera market competition. After their succesful Dual Screen Samsung TL225, now 2 of this 5 new Samsung camera will make their entrance to the long zoom point and shoot camera class. Those new 2 high zoom pocket camera are Samsung HZ35W and Samsung HZ30W.

Both of these 12 Megapixel Samsung camera have 15 Optical Zoom range from 24 – 360 mm lens, 3 inch preview screen and the capability to record 720p videos in 30 frame per second. The 15 optical zoom even surpass our previously reviewed long zoom camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 and Canon SX200 IS. Therefore, this Samsung HZ35W or HZ30W can be an alternative when you think that having a 20x Optical Zoom from Canon Powershot SX20 IS were too expensive for you.

Samsung GPS Camera HZ35W

Despite their similarities, the HZ35W were created to have more features compared to HZ30W, their difference lies in the GPS enabled feature of HZ35W and their preview screen. The HZ35W provides AMOLED preview screen, while HZ30W only have LCDs. The GPS feature in Samsung HZ35W enabled you to tag your location and cities into where your photos are taken from. This GPS data also allows you to browse your photos through map interface, pretty interesting aren’t they.

I know the geotagging feature of HZ35W GPS camera is a fun thing to have, but both of this new pocket camera also features an in-camera settings that would interest seasoned photographer like manual shutter priority and aperture priority. Samsung HZ35W release date was scheduled on March, and so does the Samsung HZ30W release dates. If you’re asking what is the price of HZ35W and HZ30W, then we’re asking the same question since there haven’t been any announcement of this new samsung camera prices.
