Kodak Slice – The Social Internet Camera

Rapid user growth of social media in the internet like Facebook, Flickr and YouTube made Kodak put a special interest on this market. Kodak Slice is their answer to fit the needs of many internet users who loves to share their photos and videos online.

This 14 megapixels Kodak touchscreen camera made it easy for social netters to sort and upload their files into social media, give name tags via their 3.5 inch preview’s onscreen keyboard. The sorting capability of Kodak Slice also enables you to sort the images by name and search your files by names of the people you tagged. Pretty cool don’t you think.

Slice’s internal memory is pretty big, since Kodak gives you a 2GB built in memory that able to store nearly 5000 pictures in it. If that huge memory is insufficient for you, you can expand it through their SD Card expansion slot. This ‘made for social media’ slim camera didn’t have any built-in wireless connectivity, to share your files to the internet, you need to connect your camera through their USB port and upload it without too much additional hassles.
Other than Kodak Slice internet related features, this slim point and shoot camera also sports some standard features like a 5x Zoom lens that have an optical stabilization feature, this will be helpful to produce a good image quality with a slim camera that usually only gives you digital stabilization. Slice lens have the 31.5mm wide angle – 157.7mm telephoto specification. This slim Kodak camera also able to record video in HD quality (720p) that made it a perfect traveling companion in your everyday photography
If you want to buy the Kodak Slice, the release date were on this Spring. Slice’s price will be around $350, available in black, silver and pink colors.
