Fujifim W1 3D Camera Hands On Review
September 6th, 2009 | by CameraBang |
We’ve been hearing about Fujifilm Finepix W1 3D camera last month, and now this 3D camera from Fujifilm is ready to be reviewed.
Many of camera enthusiast were thrilled to get a hold of this Fujifilm 3D camera and hoped to be able to view their 3d photo shots. But I guess it’s not that simple though, because right now you can view your shots taken by Fujifilm W1 in 3D only from their LCD preview or Fuji’s special 3d digital photo frame.
This 10 megapixel Fujifilm 3D camera image quality looked good enough when you view it in their preview screen. You can also set the ISO levels from 100 to 1600 in Fujifilm W1 3D if you want to explore their low light image taking capability. The video recording features allows you to make either 2D or 3D video with this Fujifilm 3D camera, but the problems is the same, you need the Fuji special digital photo frame to display it 3D.
It’s hard for many people who like to print their shots and display it to their friends and family when they use this Fujifilm 3D camera hoping to get a 3D photoprint. I hope Fuji can accompany this Fujifilm W1 3D camera with a software that adapt their 3D features to be enjoyable on PC screen or photoprints even when they not in 100% 3D quality. Or else, then I can say that the projector technology in Nikon S1000PJ to be more valuable than the 3d concepts in Fujifilm Finepix W1 3D camera.

I’ve read many Fujifilm 3D Finepix W1 reviews and almost all of them dislikes the fact that this 3D camera effect can only be seen in their 3d preview screen.
I agree with you, Fuji should somehow engineered a companion software to engage this issue

Wow.. this is the real 3D system for Fuji huh.. I thought that having a 3D imaging camera would be great, I never thought that they have to use special frame to playback the shots

Thank you so much for this Fuji reviews. Being informed by the trouble we have for viewing the 3D shots, I guess I’ll give it a second thought.
