Canon Selphy ES40 – A $149 Talking Photo Printer
September 28th, 2009 | by CameraBang |Canon Selphy ES40 is a new Canon Photo Printer products, but it’s not just a regular one, Canon has put more effort into ES40 and made it a talking printer. Canon made Selphy ES40 talk to guide you into through the process of photo printing easily, even some people find it annoying. Other than its talking feature, this $149 photo printer is pretty functional and print well. You can print directly from a memory card and PictBridge enabled cameras or you can connect it to your computers. The later needed some driver and software installation though, and don’t worry, they also a talking software 
Canon claims that Selphy ES40’s photo print can last up to 100 years with their ink and paper cartridge package ranging for $12 – $32. ES40 provides several creative print options like Speech Bubbles, Stamps, Frames and effects, they even had optional gold and silver inks when you’re feeling creative with your photo print. Despite that some people were annoyed by the voice coming from this printer, maybe Canon created it for a loner photography geek, are you?
